Hello
My name is Samantha Mendez
I received a bachelor's and master's degree in Environmental Engineering. During my schooling, I tutored math and science because I enjoy teaching and sharing the excitement for learning.
After college, I worked as a consultant for a water treatment firm and designed water treatment plants while working part-time as a tutor. I love my consulting job but realized my true passion was teaching and empowering students in their academics so I created Summit Academic.

I graduated in May with a degree in Materials Science & Engineering. My favorite subject in school was chemistry! In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing the cello, and baking.
